We use our Edge WHENEVER WE CAN!!! It's a great tool and it's hard to imagine not having one. Outlines, drop shades, fills etc. all on one piece of vinyl. Each job that comes in to our shop is examined to see if we can do it on the Edge. Small lettering, multi sign jobs, vehicles etc. Once you start using this machine, you just can't stop.

Best advise received: Don't take any wooden nickels......if you do...burn'em!

Too much! but well worth it LOL
If your edge doesn't pay for itself in a year, you don't charge enough.

Hi Heads,

Every so often there is no work, except for jus making stickers and decals. The Edge has saved us from the dry spells.

One job, a guy wanted full color banners the same day. We printed them on the Edge 14" x 7 foot....think we did 10, and it only took a couple hours to complete his order. We just gave him the printed vinyl, and he was going to just tape them up to a indoor wall. That job paid for the payment that month easy.

We do lots of sticker jobs where the customer only wants 100 that are 2.5 x 6 inches. A cargo trailer sales lot orders those. Thats a 10 minute job we do for $100.00

So, it don't take to long for those little $100 jobs to add up in a month.

You can lease an Edge for $550 per month ( but you will need a cutter also, so don't throw out that old 4B or sprint just yet.

We also use it to letter semi trucks. Those 3D, full color fonts drive those truckers nuts! Mainly because we can imitate the look of hand painting and airbrush work.

You can't just buy an Edge and let it set on the table and expect people to instantly know you can do a lot of new things....you got to make people know what you can now do.

Fire and Evacuation Maps. Print reverse on clear and then apply to the back of non-glare acrylic, and back with white. It looks completely finished and expensive. Just be sure the fire marshall has approved the maps before you print them. Vic G
