The passing of blues great John Lee Hooker marks another of the true origional blues masters, A few years back we lost Willie Dixon and it goes on.... It's hard to believe it's been 12 years since we lost S.R.V.

Almost makes me want to get to the other side faster so I can experience the jams those greats will have together. I still remember where I was when I heard the news about SRV. I guess its just a good thing Clapton didnt ride in the helicopter with him that night. Its only a matter of time before we lose another great and I for one am going to do my best to see BB King before his day comes. Everyone should listen to the blues greats at least for a few hours every year, they influenced so many of the artists of today. I dont just mean musicians either.

Lawd, Don't shoot him right down!
Better catch any of the Remaining Blues and R & B giants if you can. Bobby Womack was on the Jazz Brunch on BET. Those are rare moments, friends.
