I had a exter $125 a while back so I decided to git me one a those famous Killerkarts.I ve been using a thro-away table with wheels since 1972.A customer gave it to me new in the box and I thought I would use it for a while and then build something a lil heavier,but it never happened.I still have the cart..boy is the paint caked on it! I wont throw it away since its personal wheel squeek is a hallmark in my shop,but the new cart from Oregon will take over all duties. I used the cart today to decorate a new Peterbilt.I did some vinyl graphics on it as per the customer request.I sat my entire vinyl kit on the cart and whizzed around the rig.Rags,mineral spirits,rapidprep on the bottom shelf.Cool.. Then the fun part.Some detailing with a brush. Joey gives ya a dispenser for catalyst when ya buy a cart,so I put that tool to use.It works slick. I use magazines for pallettes and they fit perfect on the top tray.I got some paint on my brandnew killerkart and Im some pleased with it.... So whats so wise about ole Joey Madden? I called him when I bought my cart. He gave me some sound advice that I would pass along to anyone,especially newbies.... And the best part of it all? Joey didnt even know he was actually giving advice...he merely told me how he does things.. He told me that when he goes to do a job...sometimes ..one of the first questions he hears is " What do you need?" He told me that he likes to tell his customers that he doenst need anything...he has everything he needs.This makes good sense....be prepared. As I worked on my job today..the truck owner ,who is a most accomodating guy,asked me..."What can I get for you?" I gotta tell ya Joey...I thought of you... because today..after all these years.....I too...had everything I needed...and the job somehow was just a lil more fun... Dont let that NY accent fool ya....Joeys a good guy in spite of it! Gitcha a kart from Hassle..ASAP!
Michael, you gonna let me take it for a spin when I come visit you???? You think it would be useful in painting interior murals? Hmmm, might be just what I am looking for. I'm anxious to see it. A Does it also come in handy in the kitchen?
