It must be great to have your little one around with you. Patrick's only 4 right now, so he is a bit more to handle right now. Sometimes on Saturdays, I'll come in to do paper work and he doodles on the bench with markers. Kinda has a hard time with negative space right now - but he's trying

Mark, these times spent with your children, as they grow up will become more priceless, as time passes. All too soon, she will develop other interests and friends, and the lure of those will begin to tug more strongly. When she passes into her teen years, she will naturally wish to spend much more time with her peers & friends, and less time with mom & dad. Before you know it, she will become a young woman, and wish to assert her independence. Some days you get to be the dog....other days, you get to be the fire hydrant.
The key to my filing cabinets is missing, he jammed up my printer twice, I have new pen art all over my desktop, I found a roll of premask at the bottom of the staircase, I'll spare you the rest. 
He's a gem to spend time with, but a little easier in his own zone for now. I love my little bub and I know I have lots to look forward to in the years to come when he matures abit more and learns respect with objects.
I try not to look too far ahead, for those days will come with time. For now, I enjoy my chubby cheeked little one. He still wants me to cuddle with him when he drinks his milk. Ahhhh!
