As much as I would have loved to see the banner make it to Cornwall, time just does not seem to permit. Stef do not change your plans. Let's go back to the original plan, send it to Cisco when you are done.

Anyone else is welcome to sign up, however it is going to go to these folks first. There are rumors that a "Canadian Banner" might be on the way, that would be super! Please do not get your feelings hurt if the banner does not make it to you, this is supposed to be fun! And I have no clue what I'm doing!
P.S.- if anyone out there wants to take over, I'm certainly not too proud to step down and let someone smarter than I handle the travel arrangements.

I'm e-mailing everyone I know locally and calling the ones not online to let them know of the official date and time. This is not only my first traveling banner to sign, but also the first event in my New Shop! (Uh oh, 1500 square feet of virgin walls...heh heh heh)
Like I said in my e-mail to you~ If my opinion counts- I think you're doing a great job! ...and If it doesn't count- "bite me" , I still think you're doing a great job!
I am also sooooo glad you started a new thread on this banner topic... it was making me nervous seeing my name in flames on the BB.

I agree with the others, you are doing a fine job.
Your job is "captain of the ship" so all you have to do is bark out the orders and we will follow your direction.
This banner is YOUR Letterhead meet, and you should be able to run it YOUR way. And we who are attendees should follow YOUR guidelines....(there are some guidlines, right? printed guidlines?)
As a suggestion, you might be wise to e-mail everyone on the list frequently with a short news letter update and have a list of guidlines, or do's and don'ts as for rolling the banner, packing, and shipping.
The Canadians should start a banner also, and so should the Australians, and those in Europe.
It would be really neat if by next year all the banners could eventually end up at an international Letterhead Meet.
Which brings us to the question you will have to answer sometime in the near future, "where will be the final resting place of this banner?

As far as a "Real Letterhead", you are too late to deny that one either!
I'm starting to rethink my original plan, maybe having this whole banner thing done by the "Duck Soup" meet is not possible. That's OK by me, we'll just keep it travelling until it fills up! How 'bout that?

Easy now Captain Coop, we sure could save some time and money if we had the banner at the "Soup" meet...and if it's not full by then, we'll send it on...
