since i'm just starting out, this hasn't happened yet, but i'm sure it will. if a customer needs their corporate logo, how do i get it? or if they need a supplier's logo? (say, the "Armstrong" logo for a flooring company or the "Amana" logo for a appliance store). i've seen (expensive) CDs for sale with "thousands" of logos, but how do you know which to buy? do the companies usually have logos (in EPS format) available?

Scooter,
I use OCA's logos and am very happy with them. I bought the first one 5 years ago and have kept current with the updates every year. There are several places on the web that you can also get logos from but from the few sites that I have looked over most seem to be european based so only the "really" big companies are represented there.

Hi Scooter....Here is a link to a previous thread about logo websites...Check it out.

http://www.letterhead.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/007182.html

Also if you use the "search feature at the top right of BB page and type in corporate logos you will find several threads on the topic...There may be more sites out now.

Hello Scooter...ditto Greg on OCA. After the intial sticker shock it is a great tool to have in the store. They have a service called FastBack at no extra charge when you are current. It will make you lazy about scanning and cleaning up logos when you can have them do it at no charge. (National logos only, but they aren't tough about what is national). If you call them, tell them Letterheads sent you. Vic G
