OK Here we go!

The banner is leaving my shop tomorrow, headed for Norman, OK. Where monte Jumper will have at it. From there I'm going to have him send it to the "Moon", so Stef start icing down your beer, and get ready. (Also please e-mail me with your shipping address).

Anyone who has not signed up yet, now is the time! Let's have some fun with this! I really liked Ernie's idea of taking it to the Cornwall meet. I would like to see it make the trip there, and also to Milwaukee!

If you have signed up for this project, and have not received an e-mail, don't worry about it, You will! For those of you who have signed up, please e-mail your shipping address.

P.S. Sorry I didn't have an extra vehicle to send around for this project, maybe next time!

Where do we sign up for this banner? I'd like to get in on the fun, plus insted of shipping it, I'd like to hand deliver to Gail, Donna or Dan Sawatsky if they are in on it, and get to meet some of the letterheads in my region. I need to get outta the shop, and what a fantastic reason.

Tim,

Right here is where you "sign up". Because of time constraints, I'm not real sure if the banner will make it to Canada. I really would like it to! This is my first try at doing something like this, and I'm excited about it! But, being realistic about this project, here are some things to ponder.

The "banner" leaves my shop tomorrow, arrives in Norman,OK. Tuesday. Monte does his thing with it and ships it out Thursday? maybe? It goes to California, and they get it Monday? maybe? We are already into June now, and I would like to see it make the trip to "Cornwall". Have I bitten off more than I can chew?

No you haven't bitten off more than you can chew,IF EVERYONE involved will do their part to make this thing fly! When they get the banner, make it FIRST priority!! as paint takes time to dry.PLEASE REMEMBER:no one is being tested here. You don't have to go overboard or paint for ANOTHER sign person to ohh and ahh over.
Sign your name, and be sure to add your city and state.Make it colorful, make it fun,and make this project happen!!!!

coop,

You'll get the hang of it pretty quick.

Just make a list and stick to it! Let us do our job.

Now EVERYONE: ATTENTION PLEASE:

If the banner is in a box, be sure to put your business card in the box. If the banner is already sent, then whoever gets it should place a folder in the box so we can add "stuff" in the box with the banner.

This is part of the fun!

NO COOKIES OR FOOD! When we sent the barrel it came in with brownies...we gave them to the dogs! They wouldn't eat them either!

Yup........If ya wanna, go ahead and sign me up...........
When Dave Draper got the Y2K Barrell going, Don and Dora drove down to my place with it(5 hr round trip).
Got to know em, went to dinner with em and made some good friends.
I took the barrell over to Bruce Ottways, then on up to Steve Estes shop (2 hours round trip), where we got to spend a few hours together. Then I drove it down to Memphis and spent some time with George Perkins (6-7 hr round trip)where I left it for him to play with.
Bottom line.......If it hadn't been for that ol barrell we probably wouldn't have had the chance to get to know each other like we now do. These little projects can be very rewarding experiences when just a little effort is put into them. Thanks Dave, for starting it, and Thanks to Don for bringin it down and getting our end of the ball rolling.....
One more thing........The barrell was only in MY possesion for a total of only 3 days, and was well worth doing.
Made New Friends...Got to spend some Good Time with em, and will never forget it....!!

If this Banner gets going.........
"KEEP THE DAMN THING MOVING" and we can all share in a good thing......!!

If it gets to Cornwall and/or Milwaukee, Barb and I will get to sign it. The real fun for us in these projects is seeing the same object in so many different places. Thanks for getting this started Coop.

Here's another idea. Use the Letterville Database at www.letterhead.com/mdb.cgi to locate other people in your area. Throw on the coffee pot and invite them over to sign the banner. This could be a great way to include potential new Letterheads that may be feeling a tad intimidated or just plain shy.

If you need help finding people in your area, we're here to help. Call or e-mail us.

Don't know if this will be of any help....but if it gets to me after Stef, I can see that Ron Percel signs it, Victor G,Aaron Signs and any others in my area, AND, seeing as I'm headed to Ernie's on the 6th of July, we can carry it to the Cornwall meet!
Lemme know if I can help!

Chompin at the bit Coop...as soon as it gets here we'll do it and as soon as it drys she's outa here!

You folks in Cananda don't have yer feelins hurt but it takes forever to get anything over the border(I don't understand why) it just does ...seems like it comes from you to us in a fairly good timely fashion but going north ugh...

Anyone know why?

Send me the addy for the "Moon"... oh and those brownies ...(the last time) came from Terry Teague...(they were petrified when they left here) I can imagine what they were like when it was at the end
