I'd suggest if you can't find what you're looking for, to make it yourself.
Take a photo..digital, 35mm or even a polaroid will do in a pinch...of a PT Cruiser. Open it up in your photo editing program (photoshop, photopaint or whatever you use) and blow the image up to 1 inch = 1 foot. You don't have to measure the whole car. Just a measurement from two points on the car that are not going to be effected by the perspective of the photograph (ie: door width from seam to seam at handle height). IMPORTANT NOTE! Include fractions in your measurement, converted to decimals..."a quarter inch is a terrible thing to waste"..and will throw off your scale art.
(edited part>>> ) I suppose I'd better give some basic instructions for getting a photo to scale.
1. take note of the two measurements...one would be the distance in inches from the part of the car that you measured...the second will be the measurement on the photo between the corresponding points, also in inches.
2.divide the measurement from the photo into the measurement on the car...this will give you a number which will always be greater than 1...if it's a fraction less than one, you divided the photo measurement into the car measurement.
3.move your decimal point two places to the right. this will be the percentage you would need to enlarge the photo to be the actual size of the car
4.divide the percentage you came up with by 12 to get your 1 inch = 1 foot enlargement of the pic.
example: if your measurement of the car door is 43 inches and the same measurement on the photo is 3 inches, 43 divided by 3 = 14.33. moving the decimal point two places to the right gives you 1433% (so, to enlarge your photo to actual size of the car, you would enlarge by 1433%). but, you want it to be 1/12th scale, so you would divide 1433% by 12, which would give you the percentage to enlarge the photo to 1 inch = 1 foot scale, which would be 119.42%.
OK, so maybe that sounds like a pain in the butt...anybody got some scale clipart for melissa?

In Corel, all I do is import the digital pic, whether from the camera or a scan, Drag aout a couple of guidelines to match the "critical measurement" I took off the vehicle and then blow the picture up so that the everything is to scale.
Won't Illustrator do that? hehehehehehehe

If it doesn't work, then I'll look into purchasing some clip art. The only issue with that is we do so little vehicle graphics, it would become outdated before we could use even a few of the images!
I'll let you know how I make out! :-)
Thanks again!
