I need to cut some reflective vinyl (Avery, I think) for a job. What type of blade would be best for this heavier material? I would also like to cut sandblasting stencil and play around with some sandblasting when things slow down a little. Would the same blade be good for the sandblasting rubber?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. the reason I say Avery on the reflective material I have, suppliers have been switching brands around and I'm not sure I am always getting what I ordered in the past.

I haven't done much reflective but you will need a 60 degree blade for sandblast resist along with a heavier blade pressure. If it's possible you may want to try a slower cutting speed. Good luck.

Pam.. It might make a difference what kind of cutter you have, but generally you should use a 60 degree blade for sandblast as Rob said, and a "general purpose", 45 degree for your reflective. hk

i use a 60 degree blade on my graphtec for reflective and sandblast rubber. have cut 10 50 yd rolls of reflective without having to repace the blade.

I also use the sandblast blade (60 degree)for reflectives and metallics with our Graphtec.

Well, I got your cent symbol right here.. my 2¢ it's ALT 0162..
I dont know if this is gonna work or not, but here's a test on that degree symbol.. 60° it's ALT 0176..
Dunno if those will work right or not here but I'm givin it a shot. =)
