Gday Troy,
Cool shop, i dont think I'd be able to help myself, I think I'd have to throw in a ghostbusters reference or two on the promotional stuff.
I had to work so I didnt catch any of the meet but I hope it all went well, looks like it did.

Hey Roger,

That blue liquid was on the table because I forgot to put it up when I finished. The windows had not been cleaned since it was used as a fire station(1955), and "Aye Cain't STAND dirty windows!!!" heh heh

Great pics. Looks like fun was had by all. One question though. What's with the Confederate battle flag on the banner? Is Indiana a southern state or is that wishful thinking?

The "Stars and Bars" are in the shape of a Heart.NOT a flag! There is quite a bit of difference in the(2)Two.There is also a difference in representations as to what they DO and DO NOT stand for.Guess forgetting history is a selective process.
Sould have been there with us and you might have understood better. Anyone notice anything else about the banner and WHY it was put up??????

Pat,

Could you explain what the differences in representation are between the "stars and bars" flag and something painted with the "stars and bars". The only difference I can think of is the material on which the design is placed. I would like to understand better.

Sure John,I can explain very easy.It is called INTENT!My own intention of painting the stars & bars in the shape of a Heart with the added word Letterheads was to bring attention to the fact that there are some very talented sign people from the South.aka Dixie(Heart of Dixie)get it? While the same stars and bars were used on the flag of the confederatcy-sp? while in the battles of Northern Aggrestion.By no means are the intent of the two the same.Unless you have someone out there that somehow associates it wrongly. It is a simple visual representaion I designed for some the Letterheads from the South. This IS NOT a political statement!
To quote you John:"Where all traces of the past are quickly being erased" They would be ERASED quicker if people wouldn't keep draging them up.
Hope this helps
