I've been pullin my hair out trying to get my Gerber Edge to print on Edge Positive material for screen printing. The leading edges have icicles of unprinted material and a fading of the print toward the top of the print.

Finally I call Gerber and they admit the material is defective, but if I had an Edge2 or Omega software it would work better. Anyhow the stuff is being reformulated and in final testing now. But I'm hung out to dry. I called 2 official dealers that don't know anything about problems. And they won't replace my defective roll.

In the mean time I'm in dire need of a roll of positive image material. So does anyone have a roll of the old stuff they want to sell?

Thanks
ernie

Ernie,

E-mail me your file and I'll print it out onto a film positive for you using our Aspect imagesetter.

Don't let them snow you about an Edge 2 and Omega working...I just tried my first roll of the "new & improved" Edgepos this weekend, and it totally sucks! We didn't have any problems with the old stuff - why are they "fixing" it?

The coverage is dreadful, and I've tried various settings, but I haven't stumbled upon the "magic" one yet. The one Gerber suggests is the worst, at least on my machine. So far, this material is useless!
