I am just getting into HDU. I have done sandblasted signs in Cedar but wondering what u guys come up with for a price per square foot give or take a few bucks for a finished product minus the installation and posts.

I charge the same price for HDU as I do for cedar or redwood sandblasted signs.
Don't you have the EstiMate pricing software? If so, Mark Smith has come out with some excellent multimedia tutorial CD's on how to use the software for pricing sandblasted and other specialty signage. You may find the CD's useful.
Yes I do have estimate. I haven't upgraded to the newer version. I have to get around to that today. I use to laminate and glue my own cedar which was labour intensive. I think I would be out of range in the pricing if I charged the same.

I don't think you'd be out of range at all. I charge the same price either way. HDU cost more than redwood/cedar, but isn't as labor intensive. To me, that makes it a wash. Also, you are giving your client what is arguably a better product anyhow.
