Trying to come up with some ideas for some small sample Redwood and HDU signs to hang on the walls of my showroom.

The wife said that A. Ken Payne DDs Dentist was CORNY oh well. Humor isn't one of my strong points. Cornyness is!

How 'bout Sam and Patty's Fishouse Restaurant?

or Rick Havick's Moving and Storage (maybe not on redwood)
Any other silly ideas?

Also, what would be a good alternative to redwood for the wood samples. I hate to waste hard-to-come-by redwood for indoors.

ilovebacon.com has funny signs in it that may spark some humorous ideas... that will agree with you and your wife. Check the rated G through rated R half of the site first with her and which ever makes you "both" laugh, go with that.

There's is a rated X half to this site also... I'm "told", so if you get offended by these types of sites... DON'T look at that half of the site! K? Humor has a price, eh?

The "I didn't look" side of the Moon yeah, right!

Wayne, how bout signs with your names on them...like "(wife's name)Family Restaurant", "Web's Garage"...stuff you can use for decoration when you later need to make room for a sample showing some new technique you saw at a meet.

Just a thought. Better thoughts will be posted below this one, so check back later.

You cracked me up! Thanks Stefenie. I'll check that out, with my eyes closed

Don, that's a very good idea cuz my wife LynnDee is absolutely the finest cook in the world. Something to fall back on if the signshop flops.

Here's one to evoke a whole other sort of image requirement:

"Gertie's House of 1000 Delights"

You have to be THIS BIG to get on one of our rides!

Just a suggestion, hope that it gives you some inspiration.

HAHAHAHA
Joe and Rick,
Those are cute
My son and I plan to make a Bait and Tackle one with a giant HDU lure complete with treble hooks and a clear acrylic thingy (the flat part on the nose that makes it dive) airbrushed details and maybe some sparkles and clearcoat.

Thanks
