Anyone using one of these tools? Thinking of trying it out. Seems expensive for all it is but if it works flawlessly and saves me time it'd be worth it.

Well, I think everyone here probably uses the sheeter every day dont you?. OK I couldnt resist. I dont have one and it looks pretty clunky to me. It says in small print that it is intended for only certain vinyls, I would check that out first for sure!

I knew that was going to come out sooner or later! lol
I am refering to the masking tool "The Sheeter," not the weeding tool on the bottom of the page.

Brian, the screen printing/vinyl shop where I work uses something very similar to this, but larger and automated. We run 100s of thousands of dollars worth of vinyl thru that thing every year. Works great, but not sure if it would be worth $500+ unless you have a very large volume of vinyl to mask. Just one person's opinion.

PS. If you should end up buying this machine, let us know after you've used it for awhile if you are glad you went ahead and got it.

I like it IF it really works it may be worth the money. I think I would want to see it demonstrated. A weber single shaft 24" sells for about $220.00, so an automated 30" premasker may well be worth a $500.00 investment. Looks like it would save a lot of time and time is money.
