What do you guys think about making it with raised, epoxied acrylic letters & a black or white smalt background?
You guys are the Pros, any suggestions?

I like it also, looks like a it will be in coooool Blues place. The only thing I would do is raise the word Blue up a bit. You have see how you have the "y" set in between the l and b in club, a re-adjustment like that would give it more eye appeal. and just one more thing cause I like the composition, is maybe just make a couple of the small sqaures into music notes, but that only my opinion. you seem to be busy over there, that's good amigo.

Cool, thanks Cisco.I don't know if they'll let me change the design since it isnt mine.
So, you DO like the idea of smalt?
Another thing, how would you deal with the blue "flame"?
P.S. When are you coming down here to write your "Way down south" article?
How about Jerry?

Felix, I think I would leave a void in white smalt to paint a blend of smoke to match the other colors, Then apply the acrylic letters on short acrylic epoxied studs to stand off for a little more dimension.

I agree with Jack. The copy should be multi-level for depth and appeal. Just to be the only negative one the bunch, AND since it's not your design..........I don't see the flames. It does look more like smoke, but even then it's not clearly either one. Somehow it doesn't seem to belong or complement the rest of the logo in it's current configuration. my .02

I like the idea of 2 different hieghts for the letters the lighter blue at say 3/8" off the surface and the darker blue at about 3/4" that would create natural shadowsand would look really cool.
