Wow .. talk about a learning experience. After all the talk of creating fonts on the board lately I decided to give it a go. I've still got a lot to learn, I think I've got the kerning a little too tight. I decided to creat the prism face as a bold set of the font, seems easier to use. Getting started was easy enough but no-one said it would be so tedious. So far only the upper case and numbers, It'll take another 10 hours or so to get the lower case done.

Use is easy

Type 1 font free to download, I'll try to get the lower case finished within a week or so...

GEEEZ Mike!!!!!!!!! I thought we were gonna keep this "font makin thing" a secret!!!!!!!!

THEN we were gonna make a killing selling videos of how to do it AND include a bottle of "Newfie Stuff" with each order?

Ya sure blew it buddy!

Next thing ya know yer gonna be giving away the secrets of how to make signs without a signmaking program OR a paintbrush!!!!

heheheehehe...I'm just jealous because Mike is ahead of mr in posting his free download!

Mine will be available tomorrow,,also a free download!

Mike,

I digitized over 1000 fonts in the late eighties and early nineties for the Anagraph system. I then converted many of them to a CD for the Gerber system. You are on font number one....wait til you get to number 1000. Yes...it is tedious. You think what you're doing is a lot of work.... give Balmoral Script a try. It's a connecting script with very, very fancy loop-dee-loos on every upper case letter. But...once you're done....you're done. Have fun...!!!
