After dropping in at the local Chrysler dealer a little while ago and discovering that the PT Cruisers are 4 cylinder front wheel drives I've decided to put something else on my "highly improbable but nice to think about" list.

Come to think about it, I'd just be happy to do a nice brush/air job on one of these.
Oh... this page doesn't have a spec sheet but they run the ally 350 V8 spinning a six speed with numerous other bits and pieces to make it one of the better boy toys available.
Going back through my books to see when the lease expires on my present P.O.S.

Or maybe the 'Prowler', Chrysler has some neat rides on the market. I like my new Dodge Caravan but 'cute' it's not but drives and rides like a dream, still I would like to have a PT just for style. What's the El Camino styled Chrysler called, havn't seen them at our local dealer yet, 'course were half-way 'round the world from you.

David. You buy the PT cruser for looks only. It's just a new body on the old dodge neon.

Chevys 30,000 SSR is a roadster drop top pick up with a 375 hp V8. Unfortunately its more garage queen than a daily driver, so most of us who would love one will pass it by. I mean, do we really need a truck with fiber optic logos in the floormats?

The pick of the car in your post is more like it.

The new dodge power wagons from the 60's are coming back also. They are really cool. Have the fender bolted on with stainless stell exposed hex screws. Imagining doing all your own body work with a 12 piece tool kit.

Hey, any of you Aussies have pics of Ford's Viper?

And no, I dont mean Dodge's Viper.

Ford's Special Vehicle Team in OZ built a hybrid truck called Viper. It looks like an F-150 Lightning with a Taurus front end on it.. actually looks pretty cool.

I've seen it online somewhere before but forget where it was.

Mike that is know as as a Ford Falcon series one or series two AU model like all Fords it is very average the one Dave put up at the beginning of the post is the new Holden Comodore VU series very nice $30,000+ dollars more than I can afford they come in a V8 or V6 I have the earlier model 1993 same motor and I get over 32 miles per gallon on a trip and the VU's are supposed to be better on fuel.They are General Motors based Holden is the Australian subsiduary

Oops, I should have put some info but forgot I was linking the pic and not the page it came from.
Like Ian says, its Holden VU Utility (aka Ute).
Holden is the arm of The General over here.
Off the showroom floor, nothing photoshopped or customised, just a slick unit with lots of bits and pieces to attract a retired petrolhead like myself.
The Falcon Ute above in Mikes post is the Ford equivalent, no contest in my books tho
