was in a mini-mart yesterday getting milk, when at the checkout I noticed a sign advertising a stainless (didn't say steel) coffee mug ... if you buy the mug you get a whole year of FREE coffee refills .... the price ... $99.95.
So I asked what was so special about the mug that it is worth a hundred bucks ... they replied "you get a whole year of coffee"
wait...
the sign said the coffee was FREE

guess it's like buying a bottle of pop and getting a free twist top

Hmm... I guess ya gotta be a heavy coffee drinker to get any use outta that deal..

If you drink just regular coffee, at the bare minimum you have to get one cup every day of the year, and that still doesnt come up to the price they're askin.. figuring an average cup of regular coffee is 27 cents, based on my stint in the fast food industry..

I dont know about the new fancy flavored stuff though... I dont even drink coffee. =)

Another fun thing to working with type is words and their meanings! When did "free" come to mean anything but free? Kinda like "Free Love", I guess.

I bet in a hundred years people will start calling female dogs "bitch" because that will be the common term for a female!

Hey, why don't you buy a few of them and then invite friends to coffee? Wouldn't that be cool!
