How many of you heads do signs or promotional displays for Valentines Day?
If you do, you have ample notice of this day drawing near. What plans have you made, if any, to make that someone special in your life feel that they indeed are just that.

My partner and I have been together for 33 years, and some of those years weren't always the best ones. Through good times, and bad, she's supported me wholeheartedly, and has often been there to smooth over rough periods, and give an occasional kick in the ass, when warranted too. A partner such as this deserves a bit more than the token dozen roses, or a box of candy, so I'm planning something special just for her. On the morning of the 14th, a driver will pick her up and take her to a "Spa" for a relaxing day including a massage & new hairstyle. Returning home, have dinner at a nice restaurant, followed by an evening of live theatre.( A place I'd normally never go...but she enjoys.)

So,, have any of you made special plans to express your appreciation for your Valentine? If I hear something good, I might just borrow an idea and add it to the surprise day that I've planned.

I never know what to get her. Every time I get something for her from the Frederick's catalog she says....."Oh, Really?? Exactly who is this present for? Hmm?"

Feb. was the month that I married my wife 26 years ago.
And the thing we like to do on this Valentine's, like every year.
Is to go out for a 1 on 1 supper and then to a movie of our choice!
After the fact we come home and sip some bubble (Beer!) and off to bed we go!
The next step is to cuddle in each others arms after the fact and fall asleep!
The next morning as to waking up and asks each other "ARE YOU GOING TO PUT THE COFFEE ON?"
OH ****! I have to work today!
But I loved her then as I Love her now,and will always Love Her!!!!

Damnation, SI! You a mind reader?!? For Christmas I got her a beautiful Walther (that I wanted too), and she carries it in her purse. I quickly figured out that I wasn't going to carry her purse, so for her birthday I got her a form fitted holster! She said "Since when have you ever seen me with a belt on?" Hehehehehehehee

I also got her a new diamond "heart" ring.
