After reading Troy Hass'post on his new building.Seeing Don's reply about his New shop in progress. Then thinking of my own situation. Is it just me? or does anyone else
attribute this growth to being involved in the Lettehead Movement?

Trying to help with the image.

WHEW... FINALLY got it. You have to add [img] [/img] Put the URL for the photo between those. Make sure you include the brackets. Good luck.

Pat,

I actually went to your image on photopoint and copied the URL. If you scroll up and right click on the photo I posted for you, then click properties, then cut the entire url and past it between your bracket thingy's you'll have it.

Brian I well give you my hats off on the side of your building..
Very good contrast and concept...
Is it facing the road area of traffic?
I only have one question and that is at the hands....Is that a Stick in the Left Hand and is the Brush in the Right Hand?

Nice Job Pat,
to do the image thing in line you have to use
in back of it. otherwise it just list the url
I usually just go the the pic wherever you have it posted, right click on it and click on copy image location. then come here and type to close it.
like this.

see if that worked.

If this works it will be a pic of the other side of my New Shop
EUREKA!! Yes Steve that is a Mahl Stick in one hand and Brush in the other. You are also right that it is facing the road which is where I took the picture from.
Thanks everyone for your help in this matter.
I am now all geeked out and quackers

Pat....To anxwer your question. I haven't built a "new" shop but I have experienced a tremendous amount of business growth in the last 4 years. I DO believe that a lot of it has to do with the fact I started hanging around here and attending a few meets. Doing both has had the effect of causing me to think more about design than I did previously and although I am still not anywhere near the calibre of many folks here, I am a lot better than I used to be at designing a good looking layout. I figure that HAS to have been a factor in my increase in business volume.

Hi Pat,
Great sign, perfect logo, but curious if the duck is oriental. Can't tell with the shades.
I honestly believe that anyone who goes to the Letterhead meets improves their craft as long as they have an open mind and don't believe that they couldn't possibly learn any more than they do now.
Keep on postin'.

I have been to only 2 meets. Just got back from one. 11 years ago I got my plotter after only handlettering for years. Vinyl is great, but after attending meets, it renews your enthusiasm, and opens more creative doors that you never knew existed. The Letterheads have most certainly brought me out of my 'ho-hum' attitude. Hangin' with this group makes you WANT to achieve more. It makes you realize this craft is still going strong...and I am proud to be a part of it. It has made me bring out the ole' lettering brushes again! Makes me grin from ear to ear actually. Once again, my thanks to Steve and Barb for allowing me to move in.
Great looking signs PKing!! I hope to meet you someday soon. Cisco and Adrienne have said lots of nice things about you.

Hi Pat
The reason I asked is because I looked at the picture and thought the duck was lettering the word SIGNS...and then in my little brain I said to myself "shouldn't the brush hand be on the Mahl Stick?..
But to see the picture again I see that He is standing over the finished work with brush and stick in hand...
Sorry to make it sound like a dumb posting..
I still like the concept...
