This is a good forum to openly thank Glenn Taylor. Over the past few days I have been frustrated over my lack of understanding of how to achieve some effects in my software. Glenn patiently listened to my problems and offered some very good advice. When I couldn't get some things to happen right I sent him an attachment by e-mail and he corrected the problems and sent me back the artwork ready to produce.

Now, that is the Letterhead spirit! And I am not the only one that he continually supports.

He will be in Charlotte for the B.I.G. Show put on my Sign Business magazine and you can be assured that he will get a personal thank-you and a free meal.

Thanks Glenn. I'm looking forward to meeting you in person.

Just a fine example of "the spirit of letterville". What has amazed me most, is that in spite of great personal adversity, Glenn has seen fit to find the time to willingly share of his knowledge. A tip of the hat to this fine gentleman.

Glenn, by now you should be reading this...hehehe...I want to thank you for all the help you gave me last year! I just suggested to someone to look you up for the same kind of project...ok similar, but you did explain things to me in such a manner that I understood, eventually, and you never made me feel stupid for asking. You are a fine gentleman and I'm honored to know you. I'm also amazed that you of all people would find the time to help us all as much as you do. I know you've had a lot on your shoulders trying to rebuild your world!

I think you're wonderful...my 2 cents !

Hi Heads,

There really seems to be a need for the type of consulting that Glenn Taylor does. Software designers never dream of using their product the way "Letterheads" try to use it. We make sign programs jump through hoops that were never thought of.

Well, Glenn, you are on your way to a whole new career of problem solving. People / and or software design companies do chuck up some bucks for these problem solving ideas if you play the game right. Just a thought!
If Ray has this problem, so do 5,000 other sign shops! Do the math.... $20 x 5000 = wow! (or you could give it away)
hahahaahahahah

Thought the 'Glenn' might be Glenn Taylor. I just talked with him yesterday about Estimate software. The conversation wandered about a wide range of things. One thing is for certain. Very giving of his knowledge...the Letterhead spirit! Thanks again Glenn! Mick Samsel

Glenn has leterally helped us to keep our production up and running here! He responds to my questions with speed, accuracy and insight. The way he openly shares his knowledge and time, I feel like he's an old friend, even though we have never met.
True Letterhead spirit. I only hope that I can be of some help to Glenn in the future.
Thank you!

Hehehe....I love you guys. BTW, no one is allowed to play with my whipper except my wife.

But seriously.....just to clear up any possible misconception.....I got two e-mails today asking for help and asking what I would charge (Dave, you are gonna get me in trouble ) for a printout or consultation. For the record, I don't charge anything and I have no intention of ever doing so.

Back when we got hit by the flood, several of you sent money to us to help purchase whatever we needed to get restarted. It really touched my heart. Mom cried everytime she opened an envelope. She couldn't believe complete strangers were sending cards, prayers, genuine offers of help, and some of their hard-earned money during our crisis. Things have gotten much better, we have finally moved back into our shop (after 15 months), and are regaining many of our lost customers as well as picking up new ones. But I can honestly say that none of this would have been possible without each you. I am very much in your debt and always will be.

I'm just trying to return the favor. Money will be tight for some time to come, but I will always be willing to share the things I've learned. I certainly don't know it all; and, there are many who know a heck of a lot more than I will ever hope to know. But, if there is ever a time I can be of any help, please let me know. I will always be glad to help any way that I can.

Raymond, I totally agree with you, there is no other web site as tight as this one. As Letterheads we have to stick together, I know at times I see different opinions or anger, but even IRL (in real life) we see all the same thing, but one thing about this hometown, there is a unity.
A special thanks to those two beautiful people, Steve and Barb Shortreed for their efforts in this web site to make all this happen. Long live Letterville
