hey, i know that we would rather see painted numbers on mailboxes, but i have a customer who really wants cast brass 3 inch tall numbers for the mailboxes in their sub-division. i will need appx. 500 peices for starters, does anyone have any idea where these could be found without having to pay retail prices? any help would be greatly appreciated.

HB..people come in our store all the time looking for cast brass and bronze and then back off very quickly when they see the price. The problem with brass, especially polished brass on a dark wall, is that the sun eventually gets to the coating, and the letters go dark. Gemini warrants their letters for a lifetime. Incredible as this may sound, if you have your proof of purchase, you can send them back and have them re-polished and refinished at no charge.
May I suggest that you get Gemini's price for highly polished brass anodized aluminum. This looks almost as good as the real thing, very few people will ever know the difference, and they will look great much longer than real brass. The folks on the phones at Gemini are very straight with their answers, so get the story directly from them when you call about prices.
