If you'll send me another photo ... I'd be happy to post it here for you so we can all see your special companion.
I love me pets a great deal also. They have also seen me thru thick and thin. They are a wonderful support system, and just plain fun to have around.
I'm so glad Oreo and you have found each other.

Today he's sporting a blotchy blue coat, mainly around the shoulders. We painted our walls and he couldn't help himself!
It would be lonely around here without him...
Glad to hear you have a new buddy!
Have A Great Day!

Her name is Rizzo.. a wired hair terrier and spitz mix... not only is she neurotic but she's also hyperactive, overprotective, anti-social, AND has seperation anxiety.. The latest word from mom is that the pooch has devoured the couch. =) She gets bored easily.
Rizzo's a bit spoiled cause she gets 3 or 4 walks a day, now she has to stay inside fer 6 consecutive hours.
Whenever I go somewhere I usually take her with me.. whether if it's to deliver products, install something or just running to the bank or post office. She likes standing on the seat in my truck and resting her head on the dashboard to stare out the windshield. =) Either that, or she lays on the seat with her head resting on my leg.
I miss her so much and I've only been gone a few weeks.
Back in July or August she got extremely sick, got what's called Coomb's Disease.. supposedly it's a killer. The Vets said there were two options.. let her go, or put her in the doggie hospital for a couple weeks and keep her on IV's... at a cost of around $2000. PLus she would be on medication for the rest of her life.
Well.. obviously I spent the money.. just couldnt imagine living without her.
She's doing great now, she's a little less active but still more than most people can handle.. Before I left for St Louis, I took her to the vet for blood tests and she's 100% perfect! The Vets were just astounded and they took her off the medication that most other dogs need for the remainder of their lives!
When I sit back and think about it, I just cant believe how much a part of the family she is.. kinda like the annoying little brat child that ya just love to death! =)
Here's a pic of Riz' relaxing in her chair. Yep, she's got her very own chair that no one else is allowed to use. =)

Anyway forgot where I came home from, it was either Seattle or Boise, I do remember I was tired from a long drive. It was early in the morning I had just sat down on my chair, I see Daniez, with this little winnie dog (as a kid thats what we called them). He's a happy camper with his new buddy, I look at him and at this new munchkin, "ahh man, I think to myself now what happened?" He tells me the story of his friend who passed away, bla bla bla, and witie witie wow! and this dog came into the picture that had no where to go.
I have a dog, he's a rottweiller his name is Chuco, he's my yard dog. He was given to me years ago, he had been an animal of dog abuse. If I bring out a lease or even pick up a rope he will fall to the ground with his paws up, and lay there like saying "No More!" He was beaten as a pup, guess he got a hold of an expensive rooster so the story went. They whipped the $hit out him. I took him in as my dog. I have him trained to stay outside and cover the premises, he's now 4-5 years old. He's not mean or vicious, but with his bark they think he is. He only understands spanish. I taught him how to give five, he's cool, he would probably lick you more than he would bite you, he loves attention, at the present time he is blinded in one eye. The mailman is the only one he doesn't like.
As tired as I was, I tell Dan, man I don't want no dogs in my house, "ah man he's cool he's house trained." His master just died, look at him, come on Cisco give him a break?" My big mistake was...I looked at him...he's has these big sad chocolate caramel eyes, tail waggin, and them damn drooping ears. ah man please...$hit I see Daniez with a Big A$$ smile, I mean this guy is happy with his new buddy! I said "I'll talk with you later about this I'm run down I need rest."
Is he a cry baby, oh big time he was one of them spoiled dogs! I had a lady friend spent the night one week end, in the morning she wakes me up to say someone is crying outside. Daniez had went to church that morning, and left him outside. I could hear his little as whining, but I didn't want to. I answer that's Dan's dog, she says "ahhh the poor baby" I say yeah right...but I ended up opening the back door for his little ass.
Well here we are a few months later. He has adjusted. but now guess who comes into the kitchen and tells me i'm the greatest cook this side of the Mississippi? you guessed it. "Oreo" He used to snatch the food out of my hand, till I told him no way ese, you want it, then be cool, or you won't get it. then I fed Chuco a snack, seee there's no need to snatch.
How is Chuco taking all this. I still give my attention to my pal no favoritism here, although it is funny to see him mess with Oreo. As small as he is to Chuco, the boy still stands his ground. Wish I could talk more about this little guy, but I think my buddy Chuco would feel bad, anyway I need to finish up some work...Cisco

You guys are great. There is a special love reserved for our animal buddies. Good luck to all of you and yours and I just want you to know that I wish there were more people who realized the deep satisfaction in helping an animal that is neglected or abused, or educating the public on the subject.
Thank you for sharing, and by the way Jada, (our stray who was malnourished and dumped on the roadside when I found her) is chubby and healthy and very active and spoiled!) Hope to post her also with our cat tangles with soon when I get my scanner going.
