Does anyone know how to take away the wrinkles that are sometimes on new banners?
They are a problem with vinyl laying properly.
Also, another problem I'm having and that is plasticization (where vinyl banner release a gas). I've tried alchohal, but vinyl still seems a little loose on surface. Any advice I would be gratefull.

Thank You,
Glenn

Hi Glenn,

To take out wrinkles that sometimes comes with new banners, try going over the wrinkle with a heat gun.

As for the vinyl not bonding to the banner as tightly as one would like, the problem may be what is being used as banner material. Some "awning" companies try to double as a banner manufacturer and use material not properly treated for vinyl application. You may want to check with your banner supplier there in Hawaii or contact one of the major banner suppliers here on the mainland.

Zion, Read this post thinking there may be an answer to my problem.

Glen T, Do you think the heat gun would work on my face?

Gee thanks Jimmy,

Some favor..... been using the stuff for 3 days now and my face has shrunk! Looks like 1" letters on a 4'x8' sign. Maybe I should sit in on a poker game now that no one can "read" my face.
