I was just wondering what the wierdest things are that some of you folks have lettered. The most odd thing i had come in was a guy that wanted the book of john on the side of his "mobile street church and hot dog stand" how about that combonation? ha ha

Probably the wierdest thing, at least for me, to letter was a half of a bus. It was used for the movie "Lovefield" about 10 years ago. The bus was literally cut in half lengthwise. We, along with a few other local signshops, provided a lot of the signs for the movie. It was a unique experience.
Four(4) Three(3)color logos on dirt floor inside coloseum for when the Rodeo hit town. Using a screen door like a silk screen!

Mine was the ass end of a Cow saying "DO NOT SHOOT ME I AM NOT A DEER" And the hardest thing was to get it to stand still and for me to keep a straight Face as I am doing now because this really didn't happen!!!!

I lettered an Urn before ashes of someone was put into it. I still have the pics but the funny thing was that all pics came out EXCEPT the urn pics! It was a standatd high grade camera with no focus and everything was peachy except the urn pics! I airbrushed angels on it and lettered the name with the dates. I took my time and really tweaked it out. Heck, it was an urn! When my wife saw the film, she couldn't believe what she saw as I also. "It wasn't meant to be shown around." she said in total amazement...

I lettered the Holiday Inn logo in the bottom of the hotel's swimming pool. Had to use my scuba gear..hahaha! Not! I did paint it will special pool paint that would hold up under water. Also I lettered 2 commode seats...each had golden crowns with a couples names on them. These were Christmas gifts. I guess that's one way to make your own throne! Judy

Ha ha thats some funny stuff! My toilet at the shop has my logo on the seat too! The seat is lime green (came with the shop) and its my conversation piece! My logo is black yellow purple and white though the seat looks terrible but im never gonna get rid of it ! ha ha Keep em coming!

The most unusual thing I did was a skull of a bull. I put Chief Joseph of the Nes Perce(?)Indians in areal transparent red airbrush ink. I shoulda kept it, but like alot of the things I do, I gave it away thinking, "I could make another one any time I wanted..." as yet I haven't done it. You know how it is.

i haven't thought about this in a long time....10 years ago i had an airbrush shop.
one day this vw van rolls up and the rastafarians roll out, complete, with a cloud of smoke.
the one guy had me airbrush a picture of the 10 commandments on a stone tablet on a shirt.
i asked him if he had a bible i could use. he did, but, he couldn't leave it with me. he would be using it
it took me awhile to find a bible at the marina, but, the shirt was cool.

Mine truly was lettering a glass window from the inside of a Hearse..This is before the days of vinyl... Sitting inside the long Limo and lettering the Funeral Parlors name with gold leaf borders made me thing about the next time I'm in one it may be my last!!!! OH by the way this was in the late 70's and the director had Purple hair... The Money was good though!!!!! There was no job trading as I was not ready for the plot yet......Or was that Plotting...
