I have a client who wants to change the color of a roof awning on his car wash bldg. Right now its a grey with a stripe and its about 300 feet long! What is the best recommended paint to use? Primer first?
Roller application OK? He wants it to last a min. of 5 years (The awning is still in good shape...so the paint job needs to hold up) Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Tony,

You might check with a manufacturer of awning material to see what they suggest. There are vinyl base paints.

I've seen awnings here in Vancouver, Canada coated with silkscreen ink. When I asked about how they were done, I was told that one was rolled, and the other was sprayed.
They did last about 5 years too !

Good Luck
