Hi Barry,
I'll try to explain what the guys showed me.
1.Upload the image to your website.(if you dont have one, this is a good one: www.theglobe.com it has instructions for uploading images and has 25mgs of free space.
2. right click on the image and then click properties. It will show the URL address.
3. type: in your post. no spaces
There's probably another way but that's how I did it.

Hi,

Posting a picture requires several set-up steps first.

1. you must take the picture

2. you must develope it

3. scan it and resample it to 2.5 x 5" 256 color .gif or .jpg ( 50,000 bites is good)
and at 72 DPI ....bigger pictures and higer dpi are a total waste of effort.

4. you must FTP the picture to a web server

5. you must type in the correct address and codes for it to appear on a bullentin board.

if you are lost at step 3.....you need to review scanning and resampling information.
We use Corel 6 & Deskscan to aquire our images and resample them to correct proportions.

If you can't get by step 4. you need to go to obtain an FTP (File Transefer Protocol) program from the local computer store or over the internet ...like twocows.com...you may also need a program to UNZIP the FTP program you download.

If you can't get by step 5, you need to call your ISP (Internet service provider) and ask them where and how to store pictures on their server.

You should also ask them how to address your picture....for instance my pics are stored at homepage.davesworld.net~signman/
and to display them here I have to add: [img] commands in front of and after the picture address, also the http thingy too.

Clear as 1 shot black, right? hahahahaahah
