I also have an approx. list of all eqiuvalent Pantone and NCS (paint codes) for Avery products, again I don't know how this relates to the ranges sold in the US. We have Avery 900qm cast, Avery 800PF cast and Avery 600 calendered intermediate vinyls, plus translucents, and 2 types of reflex.

Best you get a Pantone Colour Chart ... lay it against your vinyl chart for the required colour ... or close as you can get and use that!
I have never had any problems doing that. You must explain to the customer (if necessary!) that colour varies with gloss and if it is ink, vinyl, acrylic or enamel paint
