Hi. I have to letter the side of a "six Pack", a mobile asphault plant.

I need to know "will one shot be the best thing to use?"

The surface will be a constant 300 degrees during most working days.

Give me some expert help, PLEASE!!!

What paint should I use?

I would contact One Shot, Ronan and Chromatic at their tech departments. There are usually phone numbers on the cans. Personally i would stay away from this one.

G'Day Tasmus, I think I would make a stencil mask for this job and spray auto engine enamel on it (the stuff you buy from the Car Accessories shop in the spray packs) it can withstand a lot of heat.
Good luck, Butch downunder

Tas,
DO NOT USE One Shot for this application. The resin sytems are not designed for such high temps. The earlier post about auto engine enamels was a good suggestion, or get a high-performance paint like the kind they use at oil refineries; although these products are very expensive. One source that I know about is International Paint, now part of Akzo in Houston, TX.
Good luck!

we take care of an asphault company around here and the best way we have found is as everyone says....mask and spray
we tried the special vinyl that handles extreem temperatures and while it worked it was very expensive
we use only 2pak paint now and have had no trouble for years
hope you have luck with it

regards
gail
