First you need a website. You load your image to the site, then attach a link to it, then use UBB code to make it work on this bb.
All it takes is a little practice and know-how, something I recently made myself learn as well. It's a proud moment when one figures it out and does it!

Once you have your picture parked on a web server its easy!
To park your picture on an ISP's free space varies from AOL to local isp's...so call and ask...they will give you an address.
You will need a FTP program to upload your picture to the ISP avaialble from places like www.twocow.com (might be twocows.com)
and most likely they will download it in a zipped format so you will also need to down load an unzipping program like PKZIP.
Scan your picture and resample it to 3" x 5" at 72 DPI and then convert to 256 colors.
Save your picture in jpeg or gif formatt ( I prefer .gif)
with your internet connection on and your browser open, start your FTP program and follow directions to upload your picture to your Internet Service Provider at the address they say...for instance mine ISP says I can store 10 megs at http: / / homepage. davesworld.net/`signman/picture.gif
( I had to use spaces between the address or a picture would really diplay here)
Type your post and include the picture address as follows but WITHOUT SPACES:
[ i m g ] h t t p : homepage . davesworld . net /~ signman / picture.gif [/ i m g ]
Remember..my address will be somewhat different than yours but they all work the same way. The [ i m g ] [ / i m g ] must encase your address.
Also if you wanted us to go to a web site you would link us by typing [ u r l ] h t t p: / / address.com/this and that [ / u r l ]
Just dont get [ u r l ] mixed up with [ im g ]
clear as mud ...right? hahahahaha

Just remember, there are tons of free websites out there you can place your pictures on. And they're rigged so you don't have to know FTP stuff.
If you go with Tripod, you won't be able to directly get the picture to show on this board, you'll just see a link. I now use Globe for posting pics.
Go to Globe, and you'll need to enter info and a password will be sent to you. Once you have your password, it's playtime!
