I need to paint PVC posts with a duronotic bronze color (meta-flex by ANZO). Will this paint stick if the PVC is scuffed or will I need to prime first. I know DEKA works with PVC, will it work as a primer using the meta-flex as a top coat?

Why not call ANZO at the Toll-free number on the can? Nobody can advise you better. I usually prime with Ti-cote same as lettering on Vinyl Banners, but the manufacturer is the real source to start with.

A call in to AKZO would be in order. I have painted many a PVC post with their Grip-Flex line of paint. In my experience, the paint sticks tenaciously. It would not hurt to wipe the post down with xylene or the equivalent before painting. Also, wiping with a damp rag will help cut down on static pulling dust into your paint job. There is an additional post on cutting down static (I think it is something like "Painting PVC").

Thanks for your help, I called ANZ0, they suggested tested for UV inhibitors, if it doesn't flake off, it will be OK. Seems to stick really well, for now.
