We're getting e-mail from some of you saying you are unable to post. Some assume they have been banned or placed on some sort of bad apple list. Others are under the impression that you have to be a Resident to post here. Let's start by making it perfectly clear that none of the above is true.
Here are a few thing that we have found to be happening.
Have your preferences expired? This is the #1 problem. Remember your preferences are only saved for one year. If it's been a year since you registered, you have to reset them. Here's what to do! Click on login Fill in your username and password, click on the login button Your cookies will automatically be saved if you have your computer set to accept cookies.
Make sure you have your computer set to accept cookies. To learn how to do this go to... Cookies
You may have registered in the Letterville Database at www.letterhead.com/signup.cgi and assume the ID and password you received will work on the BullBoard. Wrong! You need a separate ID and password to post on the BullBoard. Here's how to get your BB Username and Password. In the top right hand corner of the main BB Page you will see....profile | register | preferences | faq | search Click on register and read the Law Of Letterville. If you agree with them, go ahead and fill out the info which will allow you to post. We prefer that you use your real name as a Username. Be sure to fill out the signature box.
Is your e-mail address valid? If you have changed your ISP and/or e-mail, your BB e-mail may not be current. To check this, click on profile. It will ask you to enter your username and password. Scroll down and check out your e-mail address. If it is not correct, go ahead and change it. The BB will now e-mail you a new password. This new password replaces the one you are currently using.
Does your IP have a spam blocker activated so you don't receive the BB's e-mails with your required info?
Are you already registered?
Did you turn of Allow Administrators and Moderators to send you email notices, if you did you won't receive your passward needed to post?
Is your computer set to the right date? Strange as it may seem once people corrected the date on their machines everything worked fine Strange as it may seem once people corrected the date on their machines everything worked fine
If you have done all the above and still have a problem, please give us a call at 1-519-787-2673 or e-mail us at barb@letterhead.com

If some of you post and don't see your post show up, hit refresh. If that fixes it, and it should, go to tools/internet options/general/temporary files/settings/----adjust to search for new entries every time you visit this page. That should fix the prob. If not it will load up an older version of the page from temporary internet files.
