Ahhhhhhh, so now people ask me if I do wraps. But they really don't mean wraps. The word wrap seems to now refer to any vehicle graphics or lettering. And another dumb thing,,,,people still send me low res jpegs of their logos. And they think by converting the jpeg to a PDF, it will make it easier for me to reproduce. Some things just never change. I remember many years ago when some people would ask me to outline the DOT/GVW numbers on their truck. I wouldn't do that either.

Hey Rick, on your web site there is a shot of you and Megan working off a ladder jack. I tried to rent a ladder jack like the one you have with the plank set on the inside. This way you can just step right on the plank. But up here they have never seen a planks set like that. Is that plank a special ordered item or is it the way you set the jacks?

Our jacks work either on the inside or the outside of the ladders. Depends on the height and pitch of the ladder. To have the inside set up you need to lessen the steepness of the ladder. Megan has been telling me that I'm getting too old to keep doing ladders and I'm thinking she's right.Someday all those ladders will just be decorator items here, like pounce wheels.

We get that all the time lately ....they want a wrap, when the basically just want their logo on the vehicle. We don't do wraps either.

I see full wraps that could have been done much easier with paint or cut vinyl. A local window tinting and car sound system installation business has just started offering wraps.

I also had a set of ladder jacks which I used with an 8' long expandable to about 12' wooden plank. Everything was heavy and bulky for one guy to set up and you would be half worn out by the time you got the paint ready!
It seemed like I would either pinch a finger on the jacks or get a nice sliver from that plank. Either way they did serve me well over the years.
