I am so out of the loop on all the best places to buy a plotter, and the brands. Wondering if anyone knows reputable sources for them now.
Any feedback on what brand to look for.
I use Corel, so would need it to work together well with it.
I had a Roland sp 540V printer that died in March. Would like to sell maybe for parts?

I am oursourcing printing now, and considering downsizing, right now to a 30" plotter, ... perhaps even a 24"?
Used is ok, or new depending on $

Thanks for any feedback or advice.

I too am in the market for a plotter that will use unpunched material. My Gerber Envision 375 has been faithful for years, but has a 15" limitation. My 30" Graphtec FC5100 passed away a few months ago. I used it for wider unpunched or heat press vinyl material.

Wensco has a used 30" Graphtec for $1800 with a warranty. I have also seen many for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Also, check Signs 101 classified ads

I'd look for someplace that can hold my hand through getting it set up and working with my computer. Dialing those things in to our specific needs is as individual as buying shoes. The extra price for the service always seemed well worth it to me.

I called my supplier first so far (Tubelite) who state they only sell new. The prices on the Graphtecs were over $5000. (30") that is including Tech set up. About 6500. (42"). I am more interested in the 30" because I don't really think there is much material available between 30" and 48" anyways. I will keep my eyes and ears peeled for anything used. (more my budget).

Thanks for the tips Rick, I will check that avenue out. Also Rick, I think you are right about getting some help with set up.
