More and more I am getting "art" in the form of .png. What can I do with it? If I scan it (with software) all I get is wireframe images and although I can outline them they won't fill (even the outlines). Is there a way to deal with this form of data? I am using Flexi. Help! Jer Barlow

The couple things PNG's have over Jpeg are Lossless compression, transparent backgrounds. If you need a vector either ask if they may have other formats supplied by original artist or you can manually trace if it is of a higher resolution. Hope this helps.

I get them all the time. "Here's my logo" I get a tiny PNG. If it's not too complicated I just re-design it in to a Vector. But if it's bad, you know what I mean,,, I tell them I just can't use it. Got to be honest.

When I receive a poor jpg or png, I send it to Copyartwork.com and they convert it to a vector usually within 24 hours. Most artwork cost me $14-$18. I cannot redraw it for that amount.
