Just saw on Facebook that Jeff passed away from a heart attack. I never met him but often followed his comments in Letterville. He seemed like a really good guy. RIP Jeff.

Jeff and I met at a Letterhead meet and became friends. He also stayed at our home once and another time we jammed together at the Florida State Bluegrass Festival. Jeff called me, the day after Hurricane Michael, to see if we were ok. Going to miss Jeff.

I met Jeff maybe 20 years ago and our paths have crossed often since then. I have not seen him since 2007. indeed, sad news to hear about all of our fellow colleagues that have fallen way too soon.

I met Jeff. He was a nice man. He had a good bit of knowledge that he was willing to share freely. He will be missed.
