Hi everyone. Fellers just told me that Rtape's VinylEFX outdoor durable chrome & mirror gold have been discontinued. Does anyone else know of any outdoor durable alternative to these?

Over here, I use Avery. It's not the best, but it's the best out there.

Rick to the Rescue! But, the Chrome Vinyl Mirror is temporary out of stock. As soon as they have some in stock, I'm gonna give it a try. It's the Truckers Delite!
"Chrome!"

Sometimes this stuff lasts pretty long. I never did much vinyl and don't anymore since my plotter died but I used some silver that was embossed ( looked like a damar finish) about thirteen years ago on our car, small, some letters less than an inch high. It still looks good to this day. I think it was advertised to be goof for one year. lol

Thanks guys! I'm going to look into the Convex. After looking at it, chrome doesn't seem to be an issue, its the mirror gold I can't get my hands on.

Thanks again!

I recently bought some Oracal 351 gold to apply to a window, It's gold on both sides. Haven't applied it yet though. Oracal says 2 years outdoor durability. This is under a deep canopy and will never see the sun directly and I'm told by folks that use it that it should last a very long time.
Got it from Grimco.

I also vote for Real Gold http://www.realgoldinc.com/Vinyl The stuff is awesome. I've never had a problem with up selling the extra cost, especially when long life is desired. I love having the warranty without having to edge seal.
