Hi Wayne - Unfortunately we are unable to stock all of the 30,000 products that we offer in all of our 48 U.S. branches. We do try to keep high demand items stocked in all of our branches at all times.....
Dunaboard, and SignFoam aren't high demand items?

They probably don't get a lot of demand for them because most people are calling someone that has them in stock. [Smile]

Many moons ago I was a supply clerk in a factory dealing with a constant inventory of several million $$$ worth of supplies. It was a big no-no to run out of anything because you could shut a whole production department down just by failing to keep a sufficient amount of one item in stock. They were always hollering about keeping the inventory down but you KNEW if you didn't keep a big load of commonly used items, you were in for it if you ran out.

I just spoke with another rep and they're telling me that they will increase their inventory on these items because we are a regular customer these ARE in fact "high demand items". Sheesh. [Smile]

Sounds like Memphis. Everybody stocks the same things, nobody will try anything new. They never have or have had what I needed. Back when I had a sign shop a Tubelite rep paid me a visit wondering why I never bought from them. I handed him the list of things I needed to order. I said "see how much of this you have in stock". He called his store, then informed me they didn't have any of the items ( which I already knew ) but " we can order them for you". I told him " so can I like I always do and at 40% less than you would charge me".

It's almost like they want to operate as brokers instead of supply houses. Jack the price up sky high, make a phone call, have it dropshipped, by a private carrier, pocket the cash, and never have to handle it but it takes twice as long to get that way..
