What type of adhesive is best or worst to glue individual Signfoam letters onto DiBond or similar product?

I use just general old construction adhesive, Right now I am doing some painted panels and will use two screws per letter from behind, with construction adhesive.

Hot Melt Glue is good.

Silicone. Good expansion rate and outdoor life. 50 year stuff.

Don't forget to scuff the DiBond where the letters will go.
