I'm looking for a font but I don't have anything to show you. It is very bold and squared off, sans serif or maybe slight flare. The corners of most letters are notched out in a round shape. It has an old western look but can be used for a modern look.
I see it sometimes but don't see it on any font sites without spending a lot of time. It is sort of like this one from letterhead fonts but with the notched out corners. http://www.letterheadfonts.com/fonts/oldstock.php
any ideas?

Wow Chuck....that's really reaching to be able to find a font with that description...how about NeroBQ (Bold)

Thanks, Gary but that's not it. What I mean by notched out corners is like scalloped. Rounded corners turned inward. Lowes stores have used it on advertising signs.

OK, might it be something more like Ironhorse then?

Getting closer but not it either. This one is flat across top and bottom, notched at corners. Its pretty simple, too. No spurs. I wish I could post a drawing. Next time I see it I'll get an image and post to what font or whatever that site is. Thanks.

Chuck, Can't you just get something close and node edit till you get what you want? Bob

If it was only a couple of words I would.

Charles, Brothers has the look I want. I think I'll get it. The one I had in mine is very close but the beveled corners are curved. Brothers looks good. Thanks!

Was it this one?

That's close but it was more condensed tall, narrow. I think it was Brothers. I'm just going by memory and I may have imagined the curved in corners. I do that. Things aren't always the way I think they are. I remember some things clearly that I am told never actually happened.
