Saw on a youtube video. Use of Easy Off oven cleaner to remove lettering enamel from a vehicle
Ive never tried it.
Do you think it would work to remove one shot paint from Bebond and not damage the Bebond Polyester paint ?
Or maybe just regular jasco paint striper

I have used Easy Off oven cleaner on hundreds of jobs to remove old One Shot paint from factory finish surfaces.
It should work on the surface you mention, but check a small inconspicuous area first.
Note that other oven cleaners don't seem to work well or at all. And any of the "fancy" versions of Easy Off don't work as well as the "Original".

Paint stripper I use a plastic bondo squeegee and scrap it off when it softens and bubbles up

You spray the Easy Off on the One Shot and wait for 3 or 4 minutes. Usually just using a paper towel or clean rag will wipe the paint off. Where there are heavy brush strokes you might have to apply a second time. (Another useful option is to lay Saran Wrap over the Easy Off to keep the active ingredients and fumes on the surface)
If there were still stubborn brush strokes I would use a Li'l Chizler to scrape them off. (That is a small rigid plastic item with a sharp edge)
After the old lettering is removed, just wash the surface a couple of times with clean water.

Remember to wear rubber gloves if you value your fingernails. Also I've heard the old original brush on works better than the sprays.

Ya know what I have been doing? I put the EZ Off cleaner into a a plastic cup and BRUSH it on. I use a one of them synthetic brushes, about 1 in wide, or less. Just brush it one and let it do it's thing. No spraying mess. I follow up with good old Bon Ami soap, powered version, to clean off the mess.

A word of CAUTION when using EasyOff as a paint remover: It can and will mark polished aluminum surfaces...and you will not be able to restore that finish should any of it drip or splatter. Your substrate being a painted aluminum panel might also be adversely affected, if the EasyOff dissolves the top coat finish.

Went to walmart, got blue can of Easy Off (last can), they had some bar-b-que Easy Off too. Could not find any Bon-Amy.
Hey, it worked great, didnt take very long either.
Sprayed half of the piece of Bibond, used a bondo squeegee after about 3-5 minutes. Wiped the goo on a piece of news paper.
Brush dabbed some more on outline areas that didnt scrape off.
Sprayed Easy Off on the rest of the piece and scraped with bondo squeegee. Still had paint on the outlines and paint spots all over.
Figure Ill hose it off, dry with towel, and re-apply to paint areas with a 1" Boar Bristle paint brush.
Hosed it off and used a cheap plastic finger nail brush and some dish wash liquid.
Scrubbing with the little brush and dish liquid actually took off the remaining paint, even the smeared areas and I used my finger nail in a few places.
Wiped the panel dry with a bath towel.
Wal-La !
Looks like a new piece of Bebond. Didnt damage, or even scratch the Bebond polyester white paint. Took maybe a half hour at the most.
Didnt even wear gloves, hardly used any Easy Off, Full can still!
Saved a $5 dollar piece of Bebond plus the time it took me to cut it, sand, round the edges and drill mounting holes
Best part is I feel better and dont have to have that sign in my shop reminding me of the arse hole customer that thought he could con me and get something for nothing

Glad it worked out well for you Rick!
Now that you've tried it, you might feel comfortable using the same method on a "paying" job like a truck or a boat re-lettering.
