Still working with my Omega and have my gerber 4b but it is broken on the clamps where they hold the vinyl on the roller. It's too small anyway but kept it around in case computers went down/plus it is great for stencils and a workhorse.
I'm ready to find a 24 inch plotter that will talk to my Gerber Omega software; anyone want to get rid of their old, old plotter?

i have never owned anything other then ROLANDS!!! I AM ON #4......only reason for that, i started with a PNC-1000. only would cut 3 sizes 15", 18", & 20". i sold it for almost as much as i paid for it 5 years earlier)))) bought a PCN-1100. this was a 2" to 24" cutter anywhere in that space. it worked so good when i set up the mobile sign shop(2000)i bought another PNC-1100. THESE LOOK LIKE A cx-24 roland BUT ARE NOT THE SAME. the PNC series is the CAMM-PRO . i got a chance to buy a CX-300, 2" to 30", on a stand and way faster then the PNC-1100. i sold the 2 1100's for what i paid for the CX-300. did i say the CX-300 IS SO QUITE.....you can talk when its working)))) OH AND ROLANDS cut directly from corel)))

We had a Graphtec. When it caved, we got a Summa. Absolutely love is. We use Omega for plotting. No issues.

thank you all! I am still not ready to go to corel to learn or buy it, as I know Omega so well and still want to keep my 4 b around for stencils, but, I never say never!

COREL AINT HARD to learn......and a lot easier to work from then GERBER!!! i had a friend in sarasota. taught him corel, then he wound up buying a geber sprint..well then it turned to a PAY ME FOR THIS, & THAT... with them. then he had to buy GERBER ADVANTAGE 6.0 softwear($4000.00).....biggest piece of crap i ever saw(now i am already proficient in COREL... and trying to learn geber........was goofy. he finally wound up doing all his design work in COREL...... sent it to advantage TO CUT ONLY)))) i was offered a geber 4b, in 1992.......and i found a ROLAND for and vinyl and a program called LETTER ART... for same money i could got the basic 4b...AND THEN WOULDA HAD TO BUY GERBER SOFTWEAR....FONTS,,YADA YADA $$$$$$$ OUT THE DOOR........

Deb...Joe and I don't agree on a few things...BUT...when it comes to CorelDraw and Roland vinyl cutters we TOTALLY agree!
