In the hospital. He had an emergency procedure last week. It went bad. They had to patch him up again, Had tubes and was in a bad way. Thankfully, today he showed some improvement. And he is showing his crankiness so its almost time to let him go home.
He will have a phone again tomorrow..

talked to si's brother last nite. hes doin good just had some reaction to drugs. i know hes told me he cant take morphine. and ill bet some body gave him some. his brother said si was kinda out of it. si's brother is having a kidney removed this week. he was diagnosed with bladder cancer , they went in removed the bladder tumors and found some in one kidney. but you can live very well with 1 kidney.

just got off the phone with the old fart.......he is in rehab, and says he will be back home in about another week!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he can type on skype but no microphone. they did the initial surgery, and it popped open. they went back and did it agin and it let lose......3rd time different doctor...got it...hes ****ed aint had a cigarette since he went in in MARCH!!!!

I'm happy you're doing well, Si.
I've been away for a while dealing with my own health issues--6 day procedures and one major surgery on my back and neck in a 4 month span and none of them have done a lick of good. Two more major surgeries coming up this summer to try to address 7 worn out discs.
I still went backpacking last week. I live in pain but that's not going to stop me from enjoying life.
