This is the only site that I still have my original username and password.

It didn't have to be complicated, embedded, encrypted, special characters, or any of that other crap.

The password was my dog's name who has passed away over 16 years ago. 5 letters.

Man, I miss those days!

Wishing all well!

I hear ya Nevman!

I would guess that I now have about 20 different passwords that I have to remember for various websites. [Bash]

Sometimes it is a real PIA. [Confused]

That's why I am loving my new laptop. It has a finger print scanner, that I didn't know it had. When I got it out, and discovered that it did, my first thought was "what a waste, I'll never use that". Boy was I wrong... best feature ever. I have to scan my finger just to turn it on.... so it's safe. I hope I don't ever get my finger cut off...

I think Anthony Weiner had the same type of scanner for his cell phone but it wasn't his finger!

HEY THERE MARIO!!!!

It's been a long time since I have seen a post from you!!

How are you doing? I am getting older, but I am also staying warmer year round. LOL

From your picture, you look the same as you did 10 years ago. [Rolling On The Floor]

I tried using the fingerprint idea on my laptop...all I was able to accomplish was killing an ant that was crawling across the screen. [I Don t Know]

Now I have to clean the screen...again. [Bash]

I have the same 4 letter password here since I first came here under the name of Hassle Fiasco.... Far as all other sites, I use the same password and add some numbers...

I've actually started looking into the password encryption software because the unthinkable happened again. 52 passwords...gone. I was keeping all my passwords on an old Palm Pilot. No connection to the web, one simple password to open it. The problem was that it runs on 2 AAA batteries. Way back when only a handful of passwords were necessary, and I really didn't use them that much, the batteries in the Palm Pilot died. Lost all my passwords. Okay, no problem, a handful of passwords changed and re-entered into the Palm Pilot. Now I keep a close eye on my battery life and change them out as soon as they are about 3/4 depleted. But just a few weeks ago I tried to change the batteries and it wouldn't come on. I changed them to another fresh set, no go. Too late. After pulling out the batteries you have about 10 seconds to get a fresh set in or the memory is wiped. So I lost all 52 passwords again. Well not quite all of them. I had started putting passwords on a memory stick as a backup, but only had around 8 of them done. I liked the idea of having them on the Palm Pilot as it is 100% secure as it never gets connected to the net or even my computer.

Anybody using encryption software for their passwords that can give us a review on likes, dislikes, cost?

I have mostly the same password for lots of stuff. Keeps my brain clean for more important info.

The worst is online banking where they want you to change your password every 90 days! Remembering them all is a total hassle. The network here at the gallery requires me to every once in a while, re-enter the darn thing. I check and see there are seven other networks around me and none of them are easily hacked into.

The next thing will be for longer passwords and some cvv code. I have a hunch it will be like finding good lettering brushes soon.
