Just remembered that I never came back here with an update on the sandblasted sign that I had done last year, which I had a callback on because the paint was peeling.
Well, this one is pretty funny. Joe went out to take a look, and upon closer inspection, he discovered that the sign had been egged! LOL ... What looked like peeling paint to the customer from a distance, was in fact egg shells!
I must say, I had a good chuckle on this one .... as well as a deep sigh of relief.

I was wondering about that. Glad to hear you're off the hook.

Sorry, I didn't realize it was one of yours when I egged it.

You're very lucky, Janette. Although, I have seen instances where a vehicle that was egged, had damage done to the paint.
I had a call several years ago about HDU going bad on a sign, and found it had been attacked by woodpeckers. It wasn't real hard to repair, but had quite a few chunks pecked out. Crazy!

That must have been a feeling of relief. You drive over there wondering what went wrong, how long it will take to fix, and then, Oh, good. I had a customer call saying a sandblasted wood sign on a jobsite was "falling apart" after just maybe a month. I went and looked, worried all the way over there and I could see right away it had been hit by a vehicle. Not good for the customer but at least I was glad to see it wasn't "falling apart"

Over Easy and Scambled! LOL Love it!
Yeah Chuck, exactly the feeling, and all those thoughts running in my head before it. Glad it wasn't woodpeckers either Dale. LOL
