I have a couple sets of cast aluminum letters 6" & 15" that I will be installing on a concrete/stone wall. I usually just fill the holes with silicone and slide the studded letters in, however they have had a problem with vandals stealing the letters. I'm looking for an adhesive that will prevent future theft, or a least make it very difficult. I was thinking "Liquid Nails" but perhaps theirs something better? TIA

Epoxy will work.
In fact, the two part epoxy called "Magic Smooth" might just do the job. I've glued aluminum leaves to a steel sign arm ( to embellish the arm) and they stayed on.
I use the Magic smooth to pretty much glue anything to anything!
I'm not sure where you get it in the US but I buy from Abracadabra Signs in Ontario, same as Dan.

Yeah, just use pretty much any good epoxy. JB Weld or PC-7 are two good ones, that are easily available in most any hardware/supply. The JB weld sets up quicker, and depending on weather or the time of day, quicker may be better.
Liquid nails will never get "hard" enough, to prevent vandals from pulling the letters out.
Make sure you spell everything right The clowns that put the letters on the front of our family center at church, put 2 of the letters on UPSIDE DOWN....and then the contractor said they couldn't be fixed (epoxied in). I had to take a hacksaw blade, and force/slide it in behind them, cut the studs, and put them back right.

Lexel. Comes in a tube like silicone. They will not get them off. Its messy if you get it where you don't want it so be neat. The only drawback is it takes a couple weeks to completely cure. It dries to consistency of hard rubber, not brittle. You wont't be able to ever get them off, either.
