Got moved. What a nightmare. Up in the hills above Santa Fe where it is gorgeous and quiet. No motor cycles, no helicopters, no sirens...but a few coyotes off on the mountain across the valley in the wilderness area. Will not get the gallery space til the end of June, so plenty of time to chill and get the house together.

The amazing thing is letting go of all of the routine client clutter in my head about my former sign customers...."Time to call the Ford store or follow up that once a month windshields account". Selling the whole thing to Matt was a blessing. Now I can concentrate on my landscape painting and just enjoying life as a retired splash artist. 25 years is hard to just forget.

The weather here is amazing. 90 degrees yesterday with 6% humidity felt like 78 and perfect. Skies are blue but with some beautiful cumulus clouds skipping over the mountains at sunset glowing in the sunset colors. Should have done this five years ago!

know the feeling. after coming back from being dead........as a life changing experience..was a little extreme.......BUT it brought the simple & wonderful things of living to be paid more attention to.
i was never a morning person. after the near death, i wake at 6 AM most days, go either to the front porch or back patio with a frsh hot cup o coffee, the smell of which is so wonderful, that 1st sip hitting your taste buds saying GOOD MORRRRRNNNNIIING!!!!!!! i have 5 cats who show up all with their individual behaviours, the bird flying to a fro from the bird feeders, the little breezes moving the leaves of the trees, the sun coming up and putting a differet color on the trees as it move higer in the sky.....sorta simple stuff.....THAT I NEVER PAID MUCH ATTENTION TO BEFORE.......now i gaze in amazement at every morning.

Nothing like a near death experience to make you appreciate the simpler things in life. BT,DT. Peace, Don
