Seems hard to believe that my father would have been 70 today.

I was thinking about him and Rick Glawson yesterday, reflecting on how quickly time has flown since we lost them. Your father was a great talent and he departed us way too soon. There's a lot of incredible art we didn't get to see and many good family times you missed. As Raymond likes to say, "Give flowers to the living."

Thanks David. You know what cracks me up about this picture? He NEVER got paint on his clothes! He was about 15 in this shot.

Al and I were born the same year. I will be 70 in October.
Time passes quickly and before we know it we are old...or gone.
Don't try to thank people standing beside their casket...give them flowers while they are still alive.

My Dad sports that same hair style today!
I never realized, growing up, that his hair was the same dirty blonde as mine...I've only ever seen the slicked back 50's look!
I have the print you sent me, Kimberly, framed and in my office...Thank You.

It was a pleasure to have known your Dad, he was one very special talent and person. The sadest part is that he missed watching Samantha grow and be proud of her.

Kimberly -
I remember meeting him at the sign show in Atlantic City. I had to be in the early 90s I'm thinking. There was a poster I had which had a quote that I dont remember, but that he had lettered. You might know what it was. I feel like it was blue with white lettering.
He had a kind, humble air about him. I admired his scripts for a long time and still do.
