I have a chance to purchase a NovaJet 1000i pretty reasonably. It has been sitting for a while, so it may need print heads? Any thoughts?

It will make a very nice "reasonably" priced BOAT ANCHOR!

OK, I get it.
I probably could have purchased it for $200 with a stand and extra ink. I'm sure the print heads are dry and crusty. I appreciate the input.

for $200 and if it is working condition and if you have a use for some indoor prints......its a good machine. i have is little brother, ENCAD 736. its only 36 inch wide, 600 dpi. it sits here for weeks at a time with no use. when i do need to print something, i fire it up send info to it and IT WORKS!!!!!! i paid bout the same for mine 5-6 years ago. serves me well for short term outdoor stuff under a couple months. indoor prints seem to last well over a year.. chinese print heads and the chip so you can use them are cheap. http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/668461052/1000i_encad_novajet_printer_print_head.html ink for it: http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/encad-novajet-1000i-ink.html
