Back in September I posted that the building where my studio is located had been sold to make way for a hotel and that I would either be looking for a new place to move or just retire from the business...or cut back on the operation and semi-retire.

The closing on the deal was to have been November 1, but it was delayed until December 1.

Well, Monday I received a call from my landlord and the deal has fallen through and the prospective buyer has terminated the contract. The present owner had no intentions of selling the building but was approached with an offer than he couldn't refuse. It has never been on the market.

So...I am now just staying where I am and will be making a decision on what to do in the future when all the debts are paid off by Summer. At some point I will scale back the business and do some other things, but for now business is going well and is there is more than enough to keep me busy.

Life is good.

It's amazing what a little prayer and a little patience can accomplish. Glad things worked out, Ray.

That prayer stuff really works.

Raymond...remember to not include in your debt load the $5,000 you borrowed from me back when you started your business in '81...I consider that debt paid in full...it's the least I can do to help out a fellow signmaker...that is really good news about not having to relocate...I'm happy for you...and best of luck in the future to probably the nicest guy from Temple Texas.

Who's Rusty Bradley?

And it was '91. See...you can remember things that never happened.

Anyway, thanks for the nice words.

So, have you decided what you wanna be when you grow up?

Bill - looking forward to seeing you in the Bull Pin.

When I grow up? Who wants to do that?
